Guest writing articles for other blogs
January 6th, 2008 by Andreas from Xavier Media® in Advertising & Marketing, Blogging. Topics: HTML & The WebA great way of getting more visitors to your own blog and also more customers if you're selling products and services is to start guest writing articles for other peoples blogs. By writing articles about a specific subject show the readers that you know at least something on the subject and that may result in new customers, visitors or blog subscribers. So by guest blogging or writing articles for others you may earn some new customers
John Chow is giving some advice in his blog on how to get your work accepted by A-blogs, but I think you will become much more successful by sending your articles to mid-sized blogs instead. Mid-sized blogs don't get thousands of articles sent to them each month so your chances to get published are much much greater. Even if your article gets published by an A-blog you will most likely get buried in all the other content and between hundreds of ads (John Chow's site is packed with ads distracting the readers).
So my advice is to start guest blogging for a few mid-sized blogs (like this one) instead and work you're way up. If you get your name recognized in the business, then you start charging for your articles (the A-blogs will never pay you for your work because they get so much free content sent to them) or even better yet: you can start your own profitable A-blog getting tons of free content submitted to you.
If you're interested in starting a new career as guest blogger and you're writing articles about internet marketing, blogging, domain names and web hosting, then you can submit your work to us at Xavier Media.
