Alexa rankings

I just checked the Alexa ratings for XavierMedia.com and noticed that we get 18.8% of our visitors from Nigeria (???). We’re ranked as 1199 in Nigeria which means that only 1198 sites are more popular then XavierMedia.com in Nigeria :D . Now to the big question how many Internet users are there in Nigeria?

The common thing in these articles seems to be the fact that you should buy stuff you need as close to your home as possible from an environmental perspective since all kinds of transportation is poluting our planet somehow. To me it seems only fare: Americans buy American, Europeans buy European and Asians buy Asian :)

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers out in the world. Did you know that Mother’s Day is not celebrated at the same day in all countries across the world? According to Wikipedia Mother’s Day on the second Sunday in May (i.e. today) is celebrated in Anguilla, Aruba, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belgium, Belize, Bermuda, Bonaire, Brazil, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, People’s Republic of China,Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Curaçao, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Grenada, Honduras, Iceland, India, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Latvia*, Malta, Malaysia, Myanmar, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Slovakia, South Africa, St. Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Singapore, Suriname, Switzerland, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Ukraine, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.

While for example Norway is celebrating Mother’s Day on the second Sunday in February, Georgia on the 3rd of March and Armenia on April 7th.
