The TJX Maxx got 30 years in prison

January 13th, 2009 by Andreas from Xavier Media® in Antivirus & Security. Topics: ,

One of the hackers, Maksym Yastremskiy, that hacked the network at TJX Maxx and got access to over 40 million credit card numbers got sentenced to 30 years in prison.

During 2005 they hacked the wire-less network at TJX Maxx hacked and by using trojans and other spyware programs they could get access to all credit cards used at the stores.

Lets just hope that some cyber criminals learn their lesson and stop hacking networks they shouldn't ahve access to.
