Google Wave invites
November 11th, 2009 by Andreas from Xavier Media®Just a short notice to let you all know that we have 10 invites to Google Wave we don't really have any use for.So if you would like to try out Google Wave, please post a comment in this post and explain what you will use Google Wave for.
Make sure you mention your email address in the email field so we can send you the invite (not in the comment because then the spam bots will find it).
My first impression of the Wave is that it's not much at all, but maybe that's the whole idea 
. It's like a little bit more advanced chat program without any that special features…. I actually got a little bit disappointed.
If the idea with Google Wave is that you need to program your own interface an connect to the wave using an API, then I don't think this will be that popular at all. I almost expected to be able to link in spread sheets and documents from Google Docs, emails from Gmail etc, but none of that seems to work.
You can use something called gadgets and that may be the advantage over other chat programs. You can of course also include search results in your waves and formatting like any other simple word pad software on the market.
As you may notice from this post I'm confused on the benefits of Google Wave and what to use it for, so if someone know the answer, please let me know.

Hi,
Saw the video. Seems very interesting. But I think it only works if all of our friends is using too? Maybe that's why you don't get the best out of it yet?
About typing the blog commenting is very interesting tho. Haha.

Give me an invite and let's see…kind of well integrated, the bot thing will grow…but doesn't it get confusing if you are added and then dismised from different wave groups ?
