PLR articles means Private Label Rights articles and are articles you can get pretty cheap from all kind of places on the Internet. The downside with these articles is that the author usually sells them to many content hungry bloggers and web site owners. This means that the articles you just got have already been published on someone else's web site/blog .

So to really benefit from these articles its highly recommended to rewrite them to match your own tone and style. To rewrite the article is also recommended from the search engine perspective because otherwise you may get penalized for duplicate content.
